Raipur, 26th June 2019 : Last week, fbbColorsFemina Miss India 2019 crowned its deserving winner ShivaniJadhav at the Grand finale in Mumbai.
Continuing the same format this year, Miss India in its 56th edition toured to all 30 states (including Delhi) of the nation to crown 30 state representatives who then competed for the coveted crown at the Grand Finale.
The best of talent and beauty was traced across the nation and celebrity mentors were assigned to each Zone, viz. North, East, West and South, who closely groomed the talented contestants.
23-year-old, Shivani is an IT professional who completed her schooling for JNANAPrabodhini, Prashala, Puneand has studied software engineering fromMIT College of engineering Kothrud, Pune. A trained Kathak dancer and a badminton player, Shivanialso won the title of Triumph Miss Body Beautiful at the Sub-contest Crowning Ceremony earlier in June.
Shivani will represent India at Miss Grand International which will be held at Venezuela in October 2019. Miss Grand International (MGI) has now become the world’s leading international beauty pageant and they want to encourage education and awareness through their “Stop the War and Violence” campaign.
Over a candid interaction with the media in Raipur, Shivani emphasised on how it was important to eliminate violence to achieve happiness in this world.
The press conference was held at fbb/ Big Bazaar, Ambuja City Centre, VidhanSabha Road in Raipur.
Besides, Shivani likes to spread happiness and teach basic human values to the children born at brothels. She likes to spend time with them, watch movies, play games and visit playgrounds with them.
