Surya Tube Light Awarded 5 Star
In recognition of its superior quality and advantages it confers, Surya’s
36 W Tube Light has been awarded 5 star rating by Bureau of Energy
Efficiency. Surya is the first company to get star rating on the energy
efficient Tube Light in India.One special feature of this 5 star rated Tube
Light is the saving in energy consumption by 85%. Surya has made this
possible by using world’s best Japanese Tri-band Phosphor Fluorescent
Powder along with British Technology Glass Plant and world-class filament
plant from Switzerland installed at Surya’s Uttarakhand Factory. Superior
components and advanced manufacturing capabilities give Surya 36 W
Tube Light life up to 15000 hrs, which in normal light usage works to be
staggering life of 15years. |

Speaking about the special features of Surya Tube Lights, Mr. J.P Agarwal Chairman and Managing Director, Surya Roshni said, “These tube lights
give glare free light, which has a soothing effect on eyes when switched on.
This is specially preferred by students and other commercial establishments
where individuals can work for long hours under this glare free light. The
Tube Lights in addition to high Lux Levels also give better visibility”.
Surya T8 lamps are 26mm in diameter and are available in 4ft’ and 2ft’
versions. They are also available in Cool Day Light (6500K) and Warm
White (2700K). These lamps find usage in various establishments like
Hotels, Malls and even many European countries where they are exported.
Surya also has launched various fittings for these Tube Lights in various
exciting designs and advanced technology.
Along with many distinctions, Surya has also become the first company
to manufacture T5 Tube Lights in India. This ultra sleek Tube Light is
only 15mm in diameter. These lamps are available in 4ft’ and 2 ft’ length.
These lamps also have life upto 15 years (15000 hrs, based on 3.3 hrs usage
per day with electronic ballast). This lamp is also made using Tri-Band
Phosphor Fluorescent Powder from Japan which gives highest light output
and also works at voltage as low as 140V and can withstand upto 280V.
Surya is seeing a rapid growth in the demand of this Tube Light since it has
the advantage of having life three times more than the normal Tube Light
available in the market. According to Surya, Indian consumers have liked
this 5 Star rated Tube Light more than CFL because when compared to CFL,
which saves 80% energy, this product saves 85% energy it saves Rs 600/-
per year energy bill. |
