Punjab Communications Bags Orders from BSNL
Raipur 09th, May 2010 : Punjab Communications Ltd. is a Total Telecom Solution Provider as it manufactures/services virtually everything that goes into telecom including Radio Equipment, Switching Equipment & Line Transmission Equipment at its ultra modern facility with in house State of art R & D centre. Power Grid Corporation has deployed a nationwide communication network for system coordination and control. As part of this project, Punjab Communications has provided voice and data communication over for power lines connecting remote substations to state level load and dispatch centers and further to National control and monitoring centers by installing PLCC and PABX equipments in their network. Similar projects have also been implemented for state electricity boards and regional authorities.
Punjab Communications Ltd has recently entered into a collaboration with a leading Chinese Company engaged into manufacture of telecom Equipments and has bagged a major order from BSNL whereby the profitability and the profit margins have increased substantially. Punjab Communications has recently bagged a tender of DWDM-Transponders worth Rs.22 Crores from BSNL

A much awaited breakthrough has been achieved by Punjab Communications through competitive aggressive bidding, in the DWDM tender of BSNL in which Punjab Communications has successfully competed and orders worth approx 56 Crore are expected to be placed by BSNL.
