Mumbai, June 8, 2011: Known for her beautiful expressive eyes and raven mane,
veteran actress Deepti Naval is back to charm the screen yet again. This time in an
all new avatar she is here to capture the small screen almost after a decade. Deepti
will be seen on COLORS MuktiBandhan as Chandrapraba, protagonist IM Virani’s ex-
lover. While the world thinks she had lost her life in a train accident, Chandraprabha
survives. She resurfaces from the odds as Sadhvi Chandrasmita, a woman of positivity
and serenity. Sadhvi Chandrasmita, believes in spreading happiness and considers it as
the only way to reduce pain and agony of one’s life. Thousands worship her, though few
think she is a threat to the image of a Sadhvi.

This is what Deepti had to say about her comeback on the small screen, “Acting has
always been my first love and when I was offered the role of ‘Chandraprabha’ in 'Mukti
Bandhan’ , I felt there could not be a better role than this for my comeback after almost
a decade .I was so intrigued by Chandraprabha's character that it just took a 3 line
narration ,for me to accept this role. Since childhood I have always been fascinated by
people who could lead their lives giving up all the materialistic and worldly pleasures
and now that I have got this opportunity to play the character of Chandraprabha who
renounces this world, I feel really honored. Television industry has evolved substantially
over the years and therefore I am really excited about my comeback”.
