History Repeats Itself on ‘Naa Aana Is Des Laado’
Amba breathes her last but not before uniting the sisters!
Mumbai, 27th March 2011: As history repeats itself, Diya is following her mother Sia’s footsteps. The demure and docile
granddaughter of Ammaji has finally gained courage! Enough courage to stick by the truth
against the shallow honour and pride of Ammaji’s family. While Diya has convinced herself that
she will admit in the court of having witnessed the murder, her cousin Rajvir has committed,
Ammaji is doing all that it takes to spoil Diya’s stand, from brainwashing her to sending goons
to kidnap her, of course without a consideration that she is her own grandchild like the others.

Just rewinding it to the past..She did not consider her own son Raghav’s interest, her daughter
in law Sia’s wishes and was ready to give up on their twins. Though the story moved from
Veerpur to Delhi and took a leap, nothing seems to have change Ammaji’s belief that women
should succumb to male dominance. But fate has something else planned for Ammaji’s family.
Diya, the only girl child in the family, scared of Ammaji’s wrath is slowly coming out of Ammaji’s
cocooning and taking a stand for the truth, thus mirroring her mother Sia’s characteristics.
While there’s enough and more that poor Diya is going through, Jhanvi her best friend is
undoubtedly with Diya supporting her decision, still unaware of the fact about being twin
sisters to each other. Confirming all the actions and drama Simran Kaur who plays Diya says
“There’s indeed interesting twists in the story and it will be worth watching. I share an
amazing rapport with Vaishnavi (Jhanvi) and it has been fun being best friends with her.
While the story is moving, it will be even more endearing to play her sister and I am really
looking forward to that”. In a much action and dramatic sequence Amba, Ammaji’s daughter
who has brought up Jhanvi (Raghav and Sia’s daughter) will soon have a face-off with her
mother Ammaji and breathe her last, but not before uniting Jhanvi and Diya!
