A
chunk of 1336 youngsters in Mumbai sweat out on the dance floor in an attempt to
overwrite the existing record of Australia and ink their efforts in the official Guinness
Book. The participants danced on the bollywood number ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ and
Terence had just an hour to patiently choreograph and train 1336 participants at the
same time.
The previous record for the largest choreographed dance sequence on a Bollywood
song was attempted and broken in Australia, where 1235 dance enthusiasts moved
to the music at the same time. Terrance’s challenge was to compete against this
established record and over write it and be the first to do so in an Indian context.
Participants got a quick 1 hour lesson on how to move Bollywood EshSTYLE which
was done to perfection and thus resulting in India out doing the current Guinness World
Record and bring glory to India.
Talking about the achievement Terence Lewis Said “after all the sweat and temper
during the rehearsals, on the stage and during the performance, now, when I look back
at what we just achieved, it’s still an awe-inspiring moment, and I feel proud of this
achievement, not because I did it, but because people will remember me for doing this
for INDIA and for the entire Bollywood fraternity”.
Ace TV star/ khiladi Shabbir Ahluwalia, the host of the show 'Guinness World Record -
Ab India Record Todega’, was also cheering and making the already ‘on fire’ audience
to scream their voices out and boost the performers morale. Shabbir along with Official
Guinness World Record Adjudicator Mr. Rob Molly who was the designated official from
Guinness World Record declared the effort as successful.
Stay tuned to watch this record- breaking event only on COLORS’ Guinness World
